Runway HQ is a startup accelerator. They unearth and support startups in regional ecosystems, giving them the opportunity to fast-track, grow and scale using Runway’s unique accelerator programs. Runway HQ approached Arthur St Digital to help them develop a brand new website.

The challenge

With continual growth and interest inv startup ideas and businesses in the Geelong region, Runway HQ needed a site that explained all of their key services and offerings in an easy to understand and informative manner. The site was to be informative and interactive where customers and those interested in startups could easily find information and apply for programs all in the one location. The launch for the new site was needed as soon as possible, so the time constraint for Runway’s website was short, but achievable.

The process

Arthur St Digital’s website experts began the development process through a strategy session with Runway’s key stakeholders. This session including the building of Customer Journey Maps. The team needed to understand how Runway’s customers behaved throughout their journey through the purchase funnel, which included identifying key gaps and touch points.

Working closely with the client, the Arthur St team mapped out the sitemap and began creating wireframes for the development of the website. These provided the client with an overview or ‘mock-up’ of the structure and user interface the new website will have.

The design section was next. We used colours, logos and images (provided by Runway) to begin the page layout construction. This gave the client an overview of what the website’s page were going to look like. Working closely with Runway’s Marketing and Events Director, Tess Cameron, the Arthur St team quickly built the Runway website from scratch, developing relevant imagery and content for the site.

After coding, testing and SEO, the site was finally ready to be tested and reviewed by the client. After a short 2 months, the Runway HQ website was ready to be launched!

The result

The UX website was exactly what Runway HQ needed. The site was user-friendly, informative, easy to navigate and included relevant and up-to-date application forms.

As part of the Arthur St Digital website service, ongoing maintenance and support is provided to clients. This helps with the updating, servicing and maintenance of the website, ensuring the site is optimal and running at the best it can.
